Residential
Hampshire Property Management Group manages over 150 residential apartments in Northampton, Florence, and Easthampton.
We pride ourselves in being responsive to both the owner's and the tenant's needs. Each month we collect rent, pay common area utilities and coordinate vendor services such as landscaping and snow removal. By the 20th of each month the property owner will receive a monthly report from the previous month of all receipts and expenditures as well as a disbursement of funds remaining in excess of expenses.
For maintenance issues or emergencies, tenants can contact our office directly via this website or they can contact a property manager who will schedule whatever work needs to be done in the unit.
You can trust that your investment is being properly cared for by the Hampshire Property Management Group.

ARE YOU A CURRENT RENTER WITH US?
Here are some forms you may find useful. For more information you can contact your property manager.
Move out notice - ALL TENANTS moving out only
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MOVE OUT NOTICE is intended for ALL OCCUPANTS of the unit. Roommates who wish to leave their apartment, while another roommate stays in the unit MUST receive permission from the property manager PRIOR TO LEAVING. Also, your roommate will have to officially "sign you off the lease" also there is an application process and fee for any new roommates. If you are not formally removed from your lease, you are still under a legal obligation to pay rent for the apartment, regardless of any written notice you give indicating that you are leaving.
DO YOU NEED TO ADD A ROOMMATE TO YOUR APARTMENT?
Current Tenants must get PRIOR approval before allowing anyone to move into their apartment. You may be at risk for eviction if you don't. There is an application process and a fee for swapping, removing, or adding roommates to your lease. Contact your property manager for details and advice on how to proceed with changes to your lease agreement.
ARE YOU A ROOMMATE MOVING OUT?
In order for the exiting roommate(s) to be removed from the lease officially, a written document has to be created (typically by the tenants) and it must include the following information:
- the names and signatures of ALL current lease holders
- the date the roommate(s) is to be released from the lease obligation
- the property manager's approval (bring the document you created to HPMG to get your property manager's signature PRIOR TO MOVING OUT!)
If you do not receive your property manager's approval and have this document on file you may still be considered responsible for the terms of the lease (including rent).
